Brinton McLaughlin

Brinton McLaughlin is a seasoned procurement leader with more than twenty years of experience guiding complex, highvalue procurements across the Government of Alberta and broader public sector. He specializes in procurement strategy, defensible vendor selection, and contract and vendor performance management, with a practical approach grounded in transparency and strong governance. 

Brinton has led major initiatives in technology, infrastructure, emergency services, and corporate services—developing procurement frameworks, drafting RFPs and RFQs, advising evaluation teams, and supporting organizations through full procurement lifecycles. Before consulting, he served as Director of Procurement at AGLC, where he oversaw enterprise procurement, risk management, and vendor accountability. 

Known for his collaborative style and clear, solutionsfocused guidance, Brinton brings deep expertise in procurement law, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
