Why Social Profit?
We believe the word ‘non-profit’ isn’t serving our sector anymore. (What’s up with starting on a
negative when you’re a force for good?)
This sector is taking on the toughest challenges our society faces and changing lives for the better every
day. The outcomes of this work are more supported humans, and safer, more inclusive, and more
vibrant communities for us all. That, by definition, is social profit. And it’s something we all value and
benefit from.
