With more than two and a half decades of leadership spanning the arts, nonprofit, and business sectors, Ken Cameron helps mission-driven organizations clarify their vision, strengthen their cultures, and navigate transformational change. As an Associate with Bespoke Social Profit Solutions, he draws on deep expertise in strategic planning, organizational development, and creative facilitation to support clients in building capacity, engaging stakeholders, and achieving meaningful impact.
Ken’s diverse professional background includes founding and leading Corporate cultureSHIFT, a creative consulting practice launched in 2012, as well as significant roles in Canada’s arts sector—including The Magnetic North, Canada’s National Theatre Festival, where he served as a Artistic Director and festival programmer. This combination of arts leadership and business acumen gives him a distinctive outsider’s perspective on organizational challenges. He has earned recognition for his innovative approach to facilitating change, including a Platinum Facilitation Impact Award from the International Association of Facilitators and an Organization of the Year Award from the International Association of Public Participation (Canada) for his work on The Cultural Transformation Project for the City of Calgary.
Known for blending left-brain analytics with right-brain creativity, Ken is a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator and the co-creator of several facilitation methodologies, including the SHIFT Facilitation Card Deck and the Future is Coming. He has co-authored two books on organizational culture and difficult workplace conversations, co-hosts a podcast featuring conversations on navigating workplace challenges, and has authored more than twenty-five plays that reflects his commitment to storytelling as a catalyst for transformation and connection.
Ken’s areas of expertise include strategic visioning and planning, organizational culture transformation, leadership coaching, stakeholder engagement, facilitation and group processes, and creative problem-solving. He is equally at home leading visioning retreats with boards and executive teams or coaching leaders one-on-one through complex transitions. His approach is rooted in a belief that strong organizations are built on clarity of purpose, intentional relationship-building, and the courage to embrace change.
Ken is based in Calgary. When not facilitating organizational breakthroughs, Ken can be found exploring the mountains, running along the Bow river, and writing a novel.
