Champion Chats: Stories from the Podium was an unforgettable event. Classroom Champions celebrated the successes of champions Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Justin Kripps and Brian McKeever and were inspired by their personal stories from the podium.
Thanks to Classroom Champion supporters, Champion Chats’ presenting sponsor Shaw Communications, and the volunteer efforts of so many, Champion Chats 2018 was a huge success:
- Record attendance – a SOLD OUT crowd of 320 guests.
- Great media coverage,including 660 News, Calgary Herald, and CTV News.
- More than $200,000 raised– $25,000 of which was designated in memory of Champion Chats founder, George Gosbee.
- Memorable White Hatting ceremony by Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
