Bespoke Non-Profit Solutions is looking for a Fundraising Strategist to fill a one-year maternity leave…..with the potential of staying on full-time. The role reports to the Founder and Principal and holds a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them meet their development and philanthropic goals.

job description 

o   Reporting to the Founder and Principal at Bespoke, you will manage a diverse group of clients and contracts across a variety of sectors such as health care, social services, education and recreation.

o   As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategic fundraising solutions for our clients and have a hands-on role in implementing these strategies.

o   Leveraging your strong attention to detail, you will develop reports, proposals, presentations, and strategies to meet client needs and in communication with project teams.

o   You will support clients in crafting compelling messages for grant and funding applications.

o   You will collaborate with the team and our diverse roster of clients to provide strategies and next steps for pipeline management, fundraising team development and stakeholder engagement.

o   With your experience and understanding of the non-profit sector, you will be an active contributor to cultivating and growing new client relationships and implementing the goals of Bespoke’s Strategic Plan.

o   You will work from home – at least for now.  When the world opens up – you will work from time to time in client offices and maybe one day at Bespoke’s.  Hours are flexible, but we will require a minimum commitment of 4 days a week. This role will be 80% client work and 20% Bespoke work.

qualifications and skills

o     8+ years of fundraising experience with demonstrated success with major gifts, campaigns, grant writing, planned giving, annual giving, events, board reporting and revenue diversification strategy.

o   Superior organizational, interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.

o   Adaptable, quick to learn, self-directed and goal oriented.

o   Team leadership/team player – proven ability to lead, motivate and compel others to act.

o   Strategic thinker, ability to delegate but also ready to roll up your sleeves and execute.

o   Self-reflective, you know exactly what your strengths are, where you want to grow and where you need to defer to your colleagues or other expertise to ensure a job well done.

o   Comfortable working and reporting to multiple stakeholders.

o   Able to work well under pressure, complete multiple assignments, and function effectively in a high-volume workplace with tight deadlines.

o   Preferably has the Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation.
