Laurie Griffin

Laurie has supported large and small agencies, serving a diversity of industries and public relations goals. Prior to launching Griffin Communications in 2016, Laurie was a Senior Consultant at Global Public Affairs, providing project management, research, planning and writing for a range of strategic communications planning, branding/marketing, issues management, and crisis communications programs. In her current role Laurie develops communications audits, in-depth research, communication strategies and writing support for non-profit organizations and foundations, academia, think-tanks, associations, and energy companies.
“I love working with people who have a passion to apply their expertise to doing good and doing it well,” says Laurie. “My journalism background hardwired me with a deep sensitivity and curiosity for the human experience at the root of perception and behaviour. I apply this curiosity in my research and reflect these important details back to the organizations I serve.”
At home, Laurie, her husband and three young kids are on a new adventure learning permaculture and how to grow and raise their own food on an acreage.
