Laureen is a senior non-profit leader with over 25 years of experience in corporate, government and non-profits. Laureen is passionate about understanding the challenges of the sector and taking every opportunity to prepare and lead effectively. In 2010, Laureen transitioned from the business sector to non-profit, utilizing her business experience to provide outstanding fundraising and organizational leadership in the areas of social services, health and education while serving non-profits in the Calgary community.
Laureen’s gift is providing a forensic approach to strategy and fundraising, using her broad business and non–profit management experience to understand client needs and design and deliver what they need, when they need it. She has become Bespoke’s government relations guru–providing clients with expert advice and support while navigating federal, provincial and local government relations and funding opportunities to generate significant revenue in the affordable housing sector in Alberta. As a seasoned fundraising professional, she excels at building fundraising strategies, programs and teams, supporting volunteers and providing philanthropists with opportunities to create impact when investing in the social sector.
Laureen has successfully led multiple fundraising campaigns ranging from $10 Million to $25 Million, and has personally closed six, seven and eight figure gifts. An entrepreneur at heart, Laureen is committed to outstanding professional service to the organizations, staff and stakeholders that she serves.
