Kate Price is a rock climber and painter who, by our fortune, happens to also have an undying passion for effecting social change. A seasoned project manager, fundraiser and non-profit executive, Kate brings to Bespoke her straight-shooting integrity and hard-fast belief in the critical role non-profits play in a healthy society. Her commitment to good governance, sound strategy and systems thinking has helped non-profits gain both support and relevance in their communities. Beyond all that, the woman knows how to throw a good party.
"My favorite thing is stepping back and looking at organizational ecosystems from a birds eye view. I love seeing how interconnected our world is, how communities can thrive based on the services and resources available to them. Impact means everything to me. From drag shows to technology audits, my career has been about one thing: identifying the core need and establishing the system to get that need met."
During her career, Kate has led hundreds of events and raised millions for Canadian charities, including recent record-breaking success at Discovery House, a charity that helps women and children fleeing domestic violence. While on the leadership team at Fort Calgary, she worked with the City of Calgary, CMLC, and the Indigenous Advisory Council of Treaty 7 on the upcoming capital development. At the Banff Centre, Kate ran the flagship fundraiser, the Midsummer Ball Weekend, and lead national strategic events for both donors and government.
